Scott’s play accepted into Midwinter Madness Festival!

Scott can now add “playwright” to his resume as he just received notice that his debut play has been accepted into the Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival, scheduled for February 4-24 at the Roy Arias Studios in Times Square. Stay tuned for more details on exactly when you can bear witness!

SUIT YOURSELF

The show’s first sponsor is already paying huge dividends! Scott stopped by Alabaster & Chess HQ this afternoon to try on his new suit, custom-fitted and designed to a T — right down to the logo patch! HOW SICK IS THAT? A slight adjustment in the chest and a  little lengthening of the sleeves, and this puppy is going to be ready for prime time.

VIRAL VIDZ — Django’s Farewell Montage

Django Gold first joined the Running Late family in January 2012, picking up guitar duties for The Musical Guests on what was just the third show in franchise history. 11 months and 17 shows later, that shy, gangly young man has proved himself a versatile virtuoso, holding down the piano and filling in on guitar or bass when needed, while blossoming into a shy, gangly, slightly older man. In January 2013, Django will be taking his talents to South Side (Chicago) — not his musical chops, but his fake news crafting skills. He has been offered a fellowship by America’s Finest News Source, and while we’re sad to see him go, we wish him well in his deep-dish future. Let’s take a look back now at Django through the ages, and the legacy with which he leaves the Running Late stage.
