PUT IT IN THE BOOKS —— Show 1.02

Last night, one hundred and ten people managed to squeeze into the PIT’s Striker Theatre to enjoy the comedy talk show event of the week! WE SOLD THAT SUCKER OUT! Joe Randazzo and the soon-to-be husband and wife team behind Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp, were the best guests a host could ask for, and Leo Allen brought the night to its sweet, sweet close with a tremendous set of “stand-up” comedy – even if he sat in the audience for part of it!

Big thanks goes out to the most hastily-assembled band in late night, THE MUSICAL GUESTS (Stephen Stallings on guitar, Matt Oliver on bass, Matt Buechele on piano, Chase Misenheimer on drums), who nailed the new Running Late theme song and kept things humming with their tasty interstitials.

Also a BIG BIG shout out new Running Late producer Lyra Smith, without whom this show would not have been possible. Also, special thanks to tech director Christine Pynn who gave us another fabulous performance in the booth!
